New Delhi: It was a Super Sunday for Indians as newly-crowned World No 1 Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth won their respective finals to emerge as the new champions at the India Open Superseries at the Siri Fort Sports Complex here.
Top seed Saina defeated former World Champion Ratchanok Intanon 21-16, 21-14 in 49 minutes, while 22-year-old Srikanth got the better of Danish World No. 6 Viktor Axelsen 18-21, 21-13, 21-12 in 55 minutes.
