What an over for West Indies. Brathwaite takes on Stokes and hits four consecutive sixes to give West Indies their second T20 World Cup title as the Caribbeans beat England by four wickets with two  balls remaining.

West Indies 54/3 in 10 overs: (Samuels 37*, Bravo 8*)

West Indies 37/3 in 6.1 overs: Windies could have been in trouble as Samuels was given out but later the decision was changed and he continues.

West Indies 21/3 in 5 overs (Samuels 12*, Bravo 2*)

West Indies 5/2 in 1.3 overs: What a big wicket for Root as he sends big hitting Gayle back to the pavilion. Gayle hit hard up to long-off and it’s Stokes once again making no mistake and takes the catch. A big blow to West Indies.

West Indies 1/1 in 1.1 over: West Indies lose their first wicket as Charles hits Root high at to mid-on and Stokes make no mistake.

Hard hitting Chris Gayle starts the West Indies chase along with Johnson Charles. Willey bowls the first over for England.

England 155/9 in 20 overs (Rashid 4*, Jordan 12*): England finished their innings at 155/9 in 20 overs. Joe Root once again showed his class and steered his team to a respectable total with a well made 54 off 36 deliveries. Buttler made a quickfire 36 off 22 balls.

England 111/7 in 14.1 overs: Everything seems to be going right for the Windies as England lose their seventh wicket in Root.  A big wicket for Brathwaite as he bowls a slower one  and Root gives a catch at fine leg.

West Indies captain Darren Sammy wins the toss and has elected to bowl against England.

Both the captains are set for the toss. Experts say win the toss and bowl first has been the call.

West Indies will take on England in the ICC T20 final at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.

While West Indies beat hosts India by seven wickets to reach the final, England got the better of New Zealand to reach the final.
