Hosted by the seventh largest country of the world, ICC T20 World Cup 2016 this time features 16 teams from all over the globe. Ruthless ambition, hunger for the title, quest for becoming the best team, some splendid boundaries and some over the boundaries are all about the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Seven Indian cities, including New Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dharamsala and Mohali will host the matches. The final on April 3 will be held in the city of joy.
The 16 teams have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies and England. Headed by Lasith Malinga, Sri Lanka seems quite confident with their team status. On the other hand, placed at number 2 in world T20 ranking, the Proteas are surely going to be a tough competent in the tournament. These two teams along with the number 3 placed West Indies and the elegant England will surely promise some challenging moments to the viewers.
In group B we have India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand. With an outstanding performance in the ongoing Asia cup, MS Dhoni and his comrades are already ranked 1 in international T20 ranking. Virat’s strokes and Dhoni’s winning spirit is something which is not to be missed during the tournament. The spectators for sure will be waiting for the heart wrenching Indo-Pak match. The winners of 2007 (India) and 2009 (Pakistan) World Cups will be seen fighting head to head time in the tournament on March 19 at Dharamsala.
