Countdown to 'El Classico'

'El Classico' means 'the classic' in Spanish. This year's Bernabeu leg is happening on November 21of this season. Both teams are hit by injury.

Galacticos are low on form, making this game a must-win situation for them as a win at home would put them back on track for title race. If Real Madrid win this game, they go on top of the standings on goal difference. A win for the Catalan giants will take them six points clear of their arch-rivals.
Now let us take a look at players who could control and win the game for their respective teams.

Real Madrid

Cristiano Roanldo:
Now considered to be the greatest Galactico, the 30-year-old isn't in his fine touch staying quiet at the leaderboard tied 3rd with eihht goals. This is the best situation for CR7 to step up and make his bid for his next ballon d 'or. Ronaldo must silence his critics with today's perfomance.

James Rodriguez: This Columbian can be considered as the left footed Ronaldo. With similar movements and style of play like Ronaldo, this man can conduct his own symphony in the game.Though returning from an injury lay-off, there are high hopes resting on him. Rodriguez must make sure he takes all the direct free kicks.

Gareth Bale: The Welshman has returned from a long injury lay-off. Good news is that he is 100% fit for playing. Having been being heavily booed by his own fans, he must show how he can destroy the oppostion single-handedly.

Sergio Ramos: The Madrid captain isn't sure of playing this fixture due to injury. His combination with Varane and Marcelo is phenomenal and is vital in the defence. Without Ramos, Madrid's defence will look very shaky.

Barcelona

Neymar: He is the present top scorer of La Liga with 11 goals. Neymar has blended in excellently in Messi's absence and has been in sublime touch. If his form continues, it'll be a worry for any opposition. Neymar will lead Barcelona's strike force.

Suarez: He is the silent performer for the Catalans. He has a great impact on every single game for Barcelona. His dribbling past the central defenders has been exceptional. His selfless passing too is a great aspect of his game.

Rakitic: This central midfielder is the real controller of the pace of the game. His vision has been ecstatic and his pass finds the strikers perfectly. His through balls and playmaking will be vital for Barcelona to succeed.

Messi: Though he is doubtful for this fixture, he is the main man for Barcelona. He can win games single-handedly for the Catalans. Madrid fans will hope that he doesn't play whereas Barcelona fans would pray to see him playing.
