Chris Lynn’s (55) half century helped the Kolkata Knight Riders beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 5 wickets to reach the Play offs of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League. Kolkata made through to the Play offs with 16 points on the table.
At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Shikhar Dhawan (50), Kane Williamson (36) and Sreevats Goswami (35) helped SRH reach 172/9 in 20 overs. P Krishna picked up 4 wickets.
In response, KKR got there in 19.4 overs with 5 wickets remaining. Lynn added 52 runs for the first wicket with Lynn and then carried on to stich 65 runs for the second wicket along with Robin Uthappa to ensure that KKR qualify for the Play offs.
