IPL: Mishra, Morris restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to 146, Delhi Daredevils win by seven wickets

quinton de CockHyderabad: Riding on some fine bowling performances from Amit Mishra (2 for 19 in 3 overs) and Chris Morris (1 for 19 in 4 overs), Delhi Daredevils beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets with 11 balls rmaining in the IPL match at at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad on Thursday.

Praising hisbowlers, Delhi Daredevils skipper JP Duminy said, “We bowled really well. I have been always banking on them to strike for us. It was a collective bowling performance. Guys have been responding well, understanding the XI. Youngsters have been performing and have been responding well in pressure moments.”

Surisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner said that they were 20-30 runs short. “Bowlers hit a good length, hit the hard length. Our batters did not get the job done today.”

Chris Morris, who was Man-of-the Match said, “Good day for us? Guys were ready to play a game of cricket. I had got a job in the tea, to bowl fast and restrict the runs. I am happy to contribute today. Bowlers doing well in this format is always pleasing.”
