Vijender: Indian boxers are confident for London Olympics

Chandigarh: Vijender Singh who was the first boxer to win an Olympic medal in Beijing is positive about the better performance by the Indian boxers in the upcoming London Olympic.

 

 

He said the he is satisfied with the preparations made by the Indian Olympic contenders ahead of the qualifiers and expressed his firm belief in the preparations being done by them. He further quoted that the world will see the boxers performing much better.

 

He said that more medals can be expected from the boxers this time in the Olympics. He was the chief guest at the Punjab Kickboxing Association to award 38 kick boxers.

 

He awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals in the senior, junior and sub junior national championships.
